What’s in the box

As the musician Paul Powell has developed many sides and qualities both on stage and in the studio, firstly mastering the bass guitar as his primary instrument and introduction into the professional music arena, we list below some of the Artists and projects he has collaborated with. As the desire grew to achieve more knowledge and understanding in musical terms, Paul made the decision to become qualified to compose songs, joining the song writers he often had the pleasure of recording and touring with previously.
New doors opened as he signed publishing deals with Virgin Publishers and later Emi Publishers finally landing with BMG publishers.

This led to an understanding of what Artists require when recording, and then production naturally became his next step and quite a game changer for his career.

“PRODUCING RECORDS HAS MANY BENEFITS WHEN LEARNING CULTURES AND HISTORICAL MOMENTS IN TIME, PAST, PRESENT AND SOMETIMES THE FUTURE”

Using the Alias “The Hitman” Paul helps Artists especially with their performance on the studio platform to get their best on the recordings.
Using a very original vocal approach and technique, discovering sides and depths some artists have never explored before.

Paul “The Hitman” has the ability to not only master the bass guitar, but performs well on drums, guitar and keyboards.

The knowledge of programming and engineering gives the complete package when working on the labels Artists.
Paul Powell (The Hitman) has worked with:

Bros
Mica Paris
Paul Weller
(The Style Council)
Aztec Camera
Midge Ure (Ultravox)
N´dea Davenport (The Brand New Heavies)
The Masters Of Reality
Arno Hintjens

And has performed on many other recordings world wide.

This album is delecately balanced with the string arrangements of London based cellist, Ivan Hussey, and the production of The Hitman (Paul Powell).
The album has an acoustic feel, coupled with the sound a string quartet moving across to baroque and the folk genre.
